Confirmed multiplayer features

  • Online co-op for up to three players. The official short description names the team size.
  • Proximity chat. The feature is confirmed, while its exact distance and UI behavior are not documented before release.
  • Shared store and detective pressure. Players work the station and investigate customers during randomized shifts.
  • Character customization. Customization is listed as a feature; available options and gameplay impact are not yet documented.

Role patterns by team size

These are communication patterns designed around confirmed tasks. They are not in-game classes, perks, or forced assignments.

Team sizeSuggested attention splitMain risk
1 playerAlternate store scan, customer check, and safety scan. One task hides another while attention is occupied.
2 playersOne keeps store pressure visible; one leads verification. Both hear the evidence call.A hard split can leave either player without context.
3 playersAdd a flexible safety runner who can support deliveries, checks, or emergency setup.Three people repeat work without announcing ownership.

A concise proximity-chat format

Because the official listing confirms proximity chat but not its range, use messages that remain useful even if someone walks out of hearing distance.

  1. Name the task. Say "delivery," "ID check," "computer check," or "barricade" before the detail.
  2. Name the observation. Report what is visible, not a conclusion disguised as evidence.
  3. Name the owner. Make it clear who will finish the task.
  4. Close the loop. Confirm completion or say that the result remains uncertain.
Example structure

"Computer check, record unclear, I am re-checking." This is a communication template, not quoted game dialogue.
